I am about to leave for the airport and had to show the luggage situation! I have been packing, weighing, and repacking for the last few days! My bags are all ominously close to 50 pounds and I am nervous for the final weighing at the airport check-in.
I checked in using my British passport which makes me feel like a huge fraud even though it is all legal and I was born in England and have dual citizenship. It is going to be SO WEIRD to step off the plane and be able to go through the exit for UK citizens. I will be looking over my shoulder the whole time to make sure that I am not doing something I shouldn't even though I know it is all okay!
My brother told me to fake a British accent but I would rather talk like Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady! The rine in spine sties minely in the pline. We'll see!
So, my next post will be from Chesham! My roommate is picking me up from the airport, which is SO nice because I don't know how I would manage all my stuff by myself!
Au revoir, mes amis!
Aren't you glad that you studied English all those years in school? Isnt' it so cool that you are going to get an opportunity to use it?
ReplyDeleteSo what was your luggage limit? I feel sooooo much better after seeing what you're taking!
ReplyDeleteHaha I don't think I took as many shoes but mine's all clothes.
I'm allowed 1 bag under 50 lbs, but I've got 1 bag between 50-70 and another between 50-70. God help me if I have to take a third!
I have two carry ons too!
Did you take any resources? LOL I had to scan most of mine.
Well can't wait to hear from you! Hope you're enjoying yourself :)
